ARCHITECT / PROJECT MANAGER - LEVEL 2
ROCKEFELLER KEMPEL ARCHITECTS, an award-winning design firm in El Segundo, is seeking a talented Architect / Project Manager to join their creative team.
Applicants must thrive in a fast-paced studio environment, possessing a sincere interest in high-quality design and construction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work directly with the Senior Designer in composing design options for multiple projects
Work directly with Senior Partner in composing feasibility studies and presentations
As a team, participate in city agency coordination for multiple projects
Coordinate and manage construction administration for residential and commercial projects
Develop construction documents for high-end custom residential and/or commercial projects using ArchiCAD
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors or Masters degree in architecture required
Minimum four years professional experience
Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Capacity for rigorous design sensitivity
Willing to tackle tasks beyond your comfort zone
Experience in CAD and BIM software
Interested in developing a high level of proficiency in ArchiCAD 20 and SketchUp on Macintosh platform
Interested in heavily investing in a small-medium sized firm
Experience in southern California project preferred
Experience in high-end residential and/or commercial construction documents preferred
COMPENSATION PACKAGE
$50,000 - $75,000 salary commensurate with experience
Full benefits (medical, dental, vision, and life insurance)
401(k) plan with vesting matching bonus up to 4% of annual salary

STUDENT INTERNSHIP
RKA is now accepting applications for an Architectural Internship! You are welcome to submit your digital internship application for review. RESPONSIBILITIES
Utitlizes a CAD workstation to prepare basic architectural drawings
Corrects simple red-lined architectural drawings within parameters set by others
Compiles data and performs dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings
3D modeling various commercial and residential projects; 3D printing capabilities are helpful
May also complete basic sketches and layouts as directed
QUALIFICATIONS
Enrolled in architectural curriculum at an accredited college or university and completed at least on year of study
Familiarity with CAD, macOS, and Adobe Creative Suite
ArchiCAD, SketchUp & Rhino knowledge is a PLUS!
